Legal Notice (Impresszum)

Soundshift Studio is currently operated informally by private individuals — it is not registered as a company (Kft., Bt.) or as a sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó). Accordingly, this Legal Notice does not contain a company registration number or tax number, as none exist yet.

Liability for content

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty as to its completeness or accuracy. Audio samples, images, and descriptions are for illustrative purposes. This website may contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for the content of those external sites.

Privacy Policy

This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have. We handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who processes your data

Kosztola Leó and Mészáros Marcell, operating Soundshift Studio informally (see Legal Notice above), act as data controllers. Contact: soundshifthq@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you submit the booking form, we collect: full name, email address, phone number, requested service, estimated budget, preferred date/time, and any message you add. We use this solely to respond to your request, discuss your project, and arrange a session.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the checkbox on the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), and/or on steps taken at your request prior to entering into an agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Age requirement

The booking form is intended for use by individuals aged 16 or over. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or legal guardian to submit the request, or to provide their consent alongside yours.

Retention period

We keep the data you submit for the duration of the related project / contact process. Once the project is closed (or it becomes clear no session will take place), we delete it, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Who else sees your data

This website is hosted on Netlify, and the booking form is processed and stored via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA). This means form submissions may be processed on servers outside the EU/EEA. Netlify participates in appropriate international data transfer safeguards; see Netlify's own privacy policy for details. We do not sell or share your data with any other third party, and we do not use it for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Google Fonts

This website loads typefaces directly from Google's servers. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google and your IP address is transmitted as part of that request. No cookies are set by this connection. We plan to move to self-hosted fonts in the future to avoid this external connection entirely.

Cookie Policy

This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. Only what's technically necessary for the site to function is used:

• Your language choice (HU/EN) is remembered locally in your browser.
• Your cookie-banner choice, so we don't show the banner again on this device.
• A spam-protection field used by Netlify Forms when you submit the booking form.
• The Google Fonts connection described in the Privacy Policy above.

Terms of Service

What we offer

Soundshift Studio provides audio recording, music production, mixing, and mastering services, arranged individually with each client.

Requests are not a confirmed booking

Submitting the website form is a request to be contacted, not a confirmed session or a binding agreement. The date/time you select is only used to arrange contact — some services (e.g. mixing) can't be scheduled to a fixed slot in advance. We will reach out to confirm details, timing, and price directly.

Pricing and deposit

Session pricing and any deposit are agreed individually for each project and settled directly between the parties (e.g. in cash) — not through this website, which has no payment functionality.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms are agreed directly with you (typically by phone) when a session is confirmed, and are not handled through the website.

Recordings and usage rights

Raw session recordings remain with Soundshift Studio. Rights to the final delivered mix and/or master transfer to the client once the agreed fee has been paid in full. If the artist is signed to a label or publisher, any related rights and permissions are handled separately in writing between the relevant parties before the session.

Liability

We aim to deliver every project to a professional standard, but we cannot guarantee a specific artistic or commercial outcome. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the relevant session.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law.
